Looks like it's time to dust off the old Gibbons' frog-march pic, again. The Reno-Gazette Journal has moved it's suit to force the Guv to hand over e-mails written on a government computer, using government software, using a government LAN and a government Internet connection to us, the folks who paid for all that, thank you very [...] Secretary of State Ross Miller has a disappointing habit of caving when he confronts the Governor of Nevada. He caved after he challenged Gibbons over Gibbers’ self-admitted illegal defense slush fund, and he’s caved in over the little spat they had about Gibbons’ attack on the State Legislature’s authority. (AP) Miller voted to support Gibbons’ pointless, [...] I spoke too soon about the stiffening of rubbery Democratic backbones. During yesterday’ meeting of the Board of Examiners, SoS Ross Miller and AG Catherine Cortez Masto voted along with the Gibbers to fund the pointless Homeland Security Terrorism "Fusion" Center and Cylon Mothership in Carson City. (RJ) Law enforcement officials were originally dumbfounded by Governor Gibbons proposal [...] Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller is picking on our beloved Governor again. The two mixed it up last time over Gibbons’ then secret and now illegal Legal Defense Slush Fund. This time, Miller objected to Gibbons’ secretive budget cutting process. Both sit of the state Prison Board and Miller temporarily held up the Gube’s plan to [...] When it comes to wasting taxpayer dollars, nobody does it better that politicians running around screaming "Security! Security!" like an old Star Trek rerun. So, you remember that third leg terror center Gibbers wanted for Carson City, despite the fact that everybody else thought two, one in Reno and one in Las Vegas, were plenty? Well, the [...] was what the Governor was reduced to when mean old diminutive Millionaire Molly asked the Guber why he was shutting down the legal defense slush fund that not only was for fighting the waitress-groping and the illegal-basement-stuffing, charges now successfully covered up, but also for the taking-goodies-from-a-buddy-to-get-secret-contracts-and-breaking-into-people’s-homes-illegally-thing, which is still very much alive, thank you very [...] So says SoS Miller about the Gibbons’ Slush Fund, without the question mark, drat. Miller’s letter to Gibbons is over at Vegas Pundit here. And if you were ever planning identity theft of Gibbons’ supporters, now is the time, cuz there’s a whole bunch of canceled checks over here. Now, let’s check the dates on those [...] Oh, people, why can’t we just get along? (Sun) And did you ever notice that standards have fallen everywhere, even in the Mormon church? And Miller doesn’t get too close to Gibbons, does he? Send in [...] So Gibbons dipped into that legal defense slush fund to send a brush-off missive to Secretary of State Miller in response to the SoS’s earlier letter asking for clarification of Gibbons’ legal defense slush fund. All clear? Miller responded by asking Gibbons to answer for himself and to quit the "partisan and vitriolic attacks" and answer Miller’s questions. Miller [...] Jon Ralston puts in what amounts to a guest post on VGO over at the Sun. Back in December, Ralston was telling us to give Gibbons the benefit of the doubt.
