Porter Goss was running the House “Select” Committee on Intelligence and Corruption back when fellow committee member Duke Cunningham was taking [...] Alleged Randy "Duke" Cunningham Briber Brent Wilkes no longer alleged: Guilty on all counts! (TPM). Which crooked, ex-Duke buddy could be next, I wonder? And do you think Raggio’s skipping that pointless meeting with the Gube because Myrna bit him or because it really is a [...] Brent Wilkes, alleged briber of convicted bribe-ee Randy "Duke" Cunningham, is subpoenaing everyone in Congress and his/her houseboy/girl/sex-slave intern. (TPM,TPM) Governor and former House backbencher Jim Gibbons didn’t make the cut, although his old buddy Peter Hoekstra did. (SJM) Hoekstra and Gibbons served together on the House Intelligence committee back when fellow committeecritter Cunningham was getting bribes [...] This is fun. Over at news.com some geek found out that someone on the crack Gib-team posted the Gube’s Outlook password on the Internets (News via INP) Unfortunately the crack Gib-team replaced the pages with a weird notice that doesn’t quite resemble a standard "404 error" message, but you can still find ‘em if you poke [...] The big city blog TPMmuckraker is playing catch-up on the story of the Gube’s new legal defense slushfund, and they’ve actually downloaded the first "Legal Defense Fund Statement of Formation" ever filed in the state of Nevada offa the SoS site for the education and delight of their readers nationwide. Our Governor, a beacon of hope for [...] It’s the dance that’s sweeping the nation! The Corruption Conga! Speaking of dancing, there’s a lot of that going on over the Gube’s first sorry six months of leading Nevada into the toilet. Today we learn that if the Gube’s former campaign manager and the Gube himself says he did a terrific job, well, then the MSM [...] Woah. A flyboy who constantly recounts his war stories about flying in combat zones, who gets into Congress selling himself as a war hero. Likes to go out drinking with the ladies, too. Has a good friend in the defense contracting business who buys him stuff like boat rides. TTPMMucraker originally was following the bribery scandal of [...] Brent Wilkes, a defense contractor, and CIA’s former third-in-command Kyle "Dusty" Foggo were indicted for fraud and other charges today.
