Well, if you're a state senator by the name of Bob Beers, Casino McMoneybags is your daddy. And the top giver to the Beers Express? Sheldon Adelson via various front companies. Why give $5,000, the max allowed during the primary, when you can throw in the $5,000 for the general, too, before the primary is even over? [...] I’d like to apologize to Maxi-Bob Beers. You see, I always suspected that Beers may not have been entirely sincere when he was defending the Governor’s goof-ups. I always pictured Bob to be just sucking up when he was doing that. You know, like anybody who works for an idiot boss might.
